Designed for modern adhesive tape production lines

Maximum precision in controlling the Corona dose during changes in line speed.

The production of adhesive tapes requires corona treatment systems capable of maintaining a constant corona dose even during the continuous speed variations typical of slitting machines.

The Me.Ro systems are designed to treat materials up to 2500 mm in width, ensuring uniform treatment, high reliability, and consistent quality even under the most dynamic operating conditions.

Precise control of the Corona dose is one of the key elements for achieving high performance and consistent results throughout the entire production cycle.

Electrodes designed to ensure precision and stability

Stable Air-GAP under all operating conditions

The Me.Ro electrodes are made of AISI 316 stainless steel and secured to the structure at multiple points along the upper beam, ensuring proper thermal expansion without altering the adjustment of the’Air-GAP.

The high-rigidity structure maintains a constant discharge distance, ensuring treatment uniformity and reliability during the production process.

Anti-adhesive system for protecting the Corona roller

Reduced adhesive residue and less cleaning required

For applications involving adhesive tapes, Me.Ro has developed a special anti-adhesion system that protects the Corona roller during line stoppages.

When the machine stops, the adhesive film is automatically pulled away from the Corona roller, preventing adhesive residue from sticking to the silicone coating and preserving the quality of the treatment over time.

A structure designed to ensure long-term reliability

Easy adjustments, maximum safety, and minimal maintenance

Adjustment of theAir-GAP is easily accessible from outside the protective hood, while the pneumatic opening facilitates film feeding and speeds up maintenance operations.

The Corona rollers, which are statically and dynamically balanced, incorporate a speed sensor and safety systems that automatically cut off thepower supply in the event of accidental opening of the hood.

The entire system complies with the EN 55011 and EN 50082-2 standards, ensuring high electromagnetic compatibility and maximum operational reliability.
